The latest… (besides the exciting book release)

Spoiler alert… it’s not as exciting as the book release.

The weather has been pretty rough around here this season. I know we live in Alaska but we chose to live somewhere in Alaska that isn’t supposed to get THAT cold.

We’ve been seeing a lot of negative temps and intense weather patterns that have hampered our winter adventures some.

Though we’ve done what we can to prepare for the cold…

(Warm heads, warm hearts right?!😺)

Can confirm, there’s still not any interest in becoming a snow cat. 😹

Is it summer yet?!

And even though winter only officially just started you can bet we are already getting ready for what I call; Glamping Adventure Season (Our favorite time of the year; the time from thaw until the next freezing season and when all the best adventuring happens)!

Alaska check: there are things called snow rakes that come with 20 ft or so long poles to pull snow off roofs and whatever else that is tall that may need it, because snow is heavy and can cause a roof or trailer collapse.

Alaska Pro Tip: Keeping the snow cleared around the trailer all winter makes for earlier use in the season because we don’t have to wait for all the ice to thaw around it to get it out.

The Reindeer brought presents for the four legged kids.

Book Sales!

Other than all this cold and snow, and some holiday insanity, there have been some decent book sales… thank you for that!

Last but not least… Happy New Year Y’all!

2021 was a year of many things, but we are pretty glad it’s over, and are really looking forward to the new year and all it will bring!

What’s your New Years’ Resolution?
