Ok, it’s obviously not a surprise, and in my defense the world is going crazy. It’s not just me!
I’m super stupid busy at work (I’d love to say I draw butts for a living but sadly I have a day job). The holidays always add a spectacular level of drama and complications. Book sales have been surprisingly decent (I’m not complaining but did not anticipate it but it’s taken a bit of grind). There’s also the matter of where I decided to drop book two right in the middle of all this… and I just need to face it, a blog takes time and brain power that I just didn’t have the bandwidth (figuratively and literally) for.

The Adventures of Butthole Kitty: in Alaska (book two) is NOW AVAILABLE in paperback and ebook on Apple Books.
The gist: Butthole Kitty tells Fartbox Dog who he would meet, and what he would do if he went on adventures in Alaska.
Pretty exciting stuff all in all.
This book has a lot more color, and more visually stimulating pages than book one. Is that my fancy way of saying I got a bit more creative, and went a bit more detailed in my drawings? Yes it is.
I really am pleased with how the illustrations came out. If you’ve never done this before, drawing on an ipad and then sending to print can have a whole different look. We had to play with the print color percentage a little and it worked out well.
I know I shouldn’t play favorites but I just love this book. Mostly because it has fun animal butts of our favorite alaskan animals that we love to see while adventuring in some of our favorite places around the state. 😻
